Every summer, young musicians from across the country gather in Beaver Creek for one of Colorado’s most unique music programs. This spring, we’re inviting our closest friends and supporters to meet the people behind it — and maybe pick up a violin.
Join us for an intimate evening of drinks, great food, and a one-of-a-kind musical experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Two String Band!
Here’s what the evening looks like:
Arrive to drinks and hors d’oeuvres — mingle on the lawn if the weather cooperates (this is Colorado, so fingers crossed).
After that, our friend Chris Luther — violin shop owner and CIM board member — takes over. He’ll put an instrument in your hands, teach you what he can in five minutes, and then lead the whole room in a performance together. If you’d rather not play, we have squeaky toys for you. Seriously.
It’s funny. It’s warm. And it’s a perfect snapshot of what CIM is all about — making music accessible to everyone.
Mark and Leah Biesterfeld, Co-Executive Directors of CIM, will close the evening with a few words about the institute’s mission and an opportunity to support the program.
